Drum Ecstasy exists since 1993. It plays in alternative and dance clubs, at big shows and presentations. The band takes part in illegal parties too. Every year they hold an illegal concert under the bridge in Minsk (Belarus) with a campfire and pyrotechnics.

Members: Philippe Tschmyr - was born in 1968. Has several solo projects, performs since 1986. Played in "Belarusian Climate" band. In 1996 he won an award at the alternative music contest "Give The Way" held by Soros Foundation. Besides music, works in the advertising agency "FORTE affiliated office of GREY"as an executive producer of "Below the line" and non-traditional advertising actions.

Aliaksandr Krautsou (Rizhiy) - was born in 1972. He played in school brass band, then in metal bands "Septic Shizo", "FTTF" and in "Belarusian Climate". Alexander works as a technical director of show programs and public events.

Aliaksandr Haroh - was born in 1978. Graduated from Belarusian Academy of Music. Played in "Znich" band. Worked in the symphony orchestra of Belarusian State Opera and Ballet Theatre. At the present moment he works in the symphony orchestra of Belarusian State Musical Comedy Theatre.

Alexender Kuzmin - (born 1990), student. Played in a band "Abshar"

"Oh! Empire!" is a 9-minutes performance with a flag and a searchlight. It was shown during such events as city festivals (in Novogrudok, Turov, Myr, Minsk, etc), an opening ceremony at the advertising festivals "Euroline", "White Festival"in 1995, etc.The band had their concerts in such legendary clubs as Tacheles (Berlin), Eimer (Berlin), Stubnitz (Rostock), AV-Art gallery (Copenhagen), African National Unity office (Copenhagen), Karavan Sarai (Tbilisy), Effenaar (Eindhoven), TPO (Bologna), 44(Kiev), B2(Moscow) etc. They toured in Belgium, Germany, Holland and Italy.

The band took part in such festivals as "SKIF" 2000-2002 (S.Pt.), "Shine Festival"; (Holland), industrial music festival (Leipzig), "Kurklesas" (Lithuania), "Krylia" 2005, etc.Drum Ecstasy practices joint projects with other bands, musicians and DJs: Igor Olovnikov (cello), Dmitrij Lukjyanchik (a vocal from Troitsa), Troitsa, Dror Feiler (saxophone), Lokomotiv Koncret, Traktech attack (industrial project), TT-34, VVV (spiritual trio), etc.

Since 1996 Drum Ecstasy works in advertisement and presentation projects of such brands as Lucky Strike, Pall Mall, Galouases, Orbit, Volkswagen, Mazda, Castrol, Gallina Blanca, Revlon, Microsoft, Tom Tailor, TNK, etc. Music of the band was used in the advertisement of the beer "Baltika" as well as in the film "Night Watch".

The band took part in the following shows: opening of the bike-centre in Moscow, Bike-Show 2002(Moscow), Bike-Show 2005(Kaliningrad), NHL demonstration games (Moscow), opening ceremony at the 6th Stunt Cinema Festival "Prometheu", opening of the National Basketball Championship in Lithuania (Vilnius), opening of the Callisthenics Championship of Europe (Minsk). Drum Ecstasy also took part in the shows during the following commercial exhibitions: Auto-Show in Minsk, Auto-Show in Kiev, "Tibo" (Minsk), "AgroBel" (Minsk), "Intercom2003"(Moscow), etc.Drum Ecstasy takes an active part in youth movement. The band musicians are members of BPYI "New Faces". They participated in the projects "Stop AIDS", "Protect Your Self" "Let Say Yes To the Children", in the cultural exchange between twin-cities and in the ecological projects.

March 1997 - The first album "Odds and ends" consists of different periods materials, studio works and live concerts (was issued on cassettes by Pan Records Studio). 1997. A video clip based on the concert materials is made. The whole June of 1997 it keeps the 6th position in the national hit parade.

1996-97. The band was considered the best show and the best dance music in Belarus by the club keepers.

August 2000 - The video clip "Oh! Empire!" is made.

September 2000 "Oh!Empire!" held the 2nd position in the national hit parade (leaving Rammstein and other shit music behind).

November 2000. The project "Songs" is recorded - authentic Belarusian songs performed by Dmitrij Lukjyanchik (ex-vocalist and drummer of a folk group Troitsa)

2001 - The project is published as a present edition of 100 CDs for Atlant-M Company.

March, 22 2002 - A CD-rom that included videos, photos and mp3 of different projects is published.

November, 11 2002 - Drum Ecstasy participated in Minsk Cinema Club and Ghoete Institution's project "Retrospective of German silent cinema" silent moovies accompanied by music of Minsk club bands. The group made music for film "Faust" (director Murnau).

August 2003 - Several tracks for the film "Night watch"(Nochnoy Dozor) are recorded.

October 2003 - As a part of a UNDP project aiming at involving people with HIV and their relatives into programs promoting HIV and AIDS prevention, a CD, including 6 new tracks + all the information on CD-rom, is published.

August 2004 - The CD "Drums Only" are in the Russian music shops already! It includes 10 songs recorded in 2003 and 3 songs from 1997. It contains as well 8 tracks in MP3 format specially recorded for the film "Night watch" (Nochnoy Dozor).

August 2004 - Drum ecstasy represents Belarusian contemporary culture at Forum of cultures in Barcelona 2004.

September 2004. After playing on the meeting, devoted to the 10th anniversary of Lukashenko's presidency and organized by Belarusian opposition, Drum Ecstasy has been declared as forbidden group and now is boycotted by official media as well as all the planned concerts of group are being forbidden in Belarus.

September 2004. The CD Drums Only are in the Belarusian music shops.

December 2005. The CD H.D.M. are in the Belarusian music shops.

November 2007. Refusal to release CD, a decision is taken to distribute music free of charge via internet.

March 2008. Change in the band composition.

August 2008. Technical upgrade, a new sound concept.

April 2010. Release of a new music program "Play Loud" in Belarus.
